Angie Gaffney is a film producer and entrepreneur in Chicago, Illinois. Named to NewCity’s Film 50 Hall of Fame as one of the top leaders in Chicago’s film industry, Angie is passionate about the intersection of business, leadership, and creativity. 

As a film producer, Angie focuses on developing bold, creative ideas and building the investment relationships needed to bring them to life. Recently completed projects include Desire Lines (Sundance ‘24, NEXT Special Jury Award), Single Car Crashes (Cinequest ‘24), Killing Eleanor (Best Narrative Feature Film, SCAD Savannah Film Festival ‘20), Monuments (Nashville Film Festival Audience Choice Award ‘20), Signature Move (SXSW ‘17), and Public Housing Unit (SeriesFest ‘17). Angie recently co-founded five two one films with producing partner Brittani Ward; she is a member of the Producers Guild of America (pga) and the Producer’s Union.

These experiences have directly informed her work as a certified coach. Angie works with a select group of clients and organizations to refine leadership skills, improve communication, and generate success. Angie is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation and a graduate of Accomplishment Coaching. 

Previously, Angie served as the Executive Director and Co-Founder of IFA Chicago and was an Executive Producer at the renowned satirical newspaper, The Onion. Angie has held adjunct faculty positions at Second City Film School, DePaul University and Columbia College Chicago. Shoutouts go to her family, dogs, and high school softball coach.
